Subscription is for one year, starting at the first day of the month in which you subscribe. To subscribe you have to show legitimisation. All members receive a membership card.
The membership card is strictly personal and remains the property of the library. The borrower himself is responsible for all borrowed media. Members are welcome at the public library in the Begijnengang, at the library in Blerick and at the mobile library.
Members of 18 years and up are allowed to borrow 20 media, members up to and including the age of 17 are allowed to borrow 10 media. You have to show a valid membership card to borrow media. Also when you turn in the borrowed media, you have to bring along your membership card. It is necessary that you turn in the media at the department where you borrowed them.
The borrower himself has to justify the lending period. Therefore you get a receipt. If you do not return the media in time you have to pay extra charge per medium starting the first day after the expiration date. The library's registration will be followed.
